Experienced Loving Pet Sitter

Pet care experience

Hello, I have over 30 years of experience working with animals. I love all animals and have never met one I didn’t like. I have experience with new-born animals all the way to seniors. Disabilities are not a problem. I have experience with animals with all types of disabilities. I am a true animal lover with a calm personality, which helps me quickly earn pets' trust. I will treat your pet with as much love as I treat my own. I’m reliable, respectable, trustworthy and able to adapt to your household's way of living. I am a non-smoker who will treat your pets and your home with the highest respect. I will give you and your pet/pets the personal experience you deserve. Before moving to MS, I volunteered at my local shelter in New Orleans. By doing so, I learned to help animals with all types of behavior issues and medical problems. I am also certified in pet first aid and C.P.R. Since moving to Mississippi, we have added chickens and goats to our list of animals we own. I’m happy to now be able to also offer my services to your chickens and/or goats too. I'd love to take care of your pet or pets for you. When I pet sit for you, I'll take care of your animals' nutritional needs, medication, bedding, or stall cleaning and give them lots of love, affection, and attention. I'll send you daily updates of your pet/pets with lots of photos. I truly LOVE working with animals. There's nothing I'd rather be doing. ** I do sit for people farther away than 25 miles. I just charge more. Sorry there is no way to add that rate at Rover. I charge $75 a night and $10 each for all other animals. Message me with any questions. I'd be glad to accommodate you. **

I have never left my fur baby with anyone other than family but Laura totally eased my fears. She was on time, she sent me pictures of their time together and she followed my care instructions to the letter. Remy was totally comfortable with her. She’s very sweet and honest. I will definitely be using her any time I travel.

Laura was amazing! My dogs are sad she is not here anymore! They pouted all the next day! She kept me updated daily on how they were doing, at least twice a day! I will definitely be using her again!

Laura is the best! She went ABOVE and BEYOND to care for our 2 dogs while we went on vacation. You can really tell how much she loves animals and our dogs were crazy about her as well. I received great daily updates and pictures via text messages which gave me tremendous peace of mind and allowing me to enjoy my vacation even more. We will definitely book Laura again next time we go out of town.

Laura was amazing and loving to our 3 dachshunds! I felt comfortable leaving them in her care, as a friend referred her services and said she was excellent. We were gone for 7 days on a cruise. They were well cared for. I definitely will be using her again.

When taking care of your pets in their home, I try and keep them as close to when you are there as possible. That way, your pets are very safe and comfortable while you are on vacation or business.

Information Laura E. would like to know about your pet

What do they eat, when and how much? Do they have any special treats, and do you give them at a certain time? What is your vet’s name and number in case of an emergency? What is their temperament normally like? Do they usually have separation issues? Are they known for trying to escape? Do they have any illnesses or ailments? Are they taking any medication, and if so, when and how much? Are they allergic to anything? What are their normal potty breaks if you do not have a yard? Where is their collar & leash? Do they have a favorite toy? And what is their favorite game to play? Do they need to be put in a crate or can they stay free in the house if I need to leave for a short time?

A typical day

I will take your dog to the yard and play ball or their favorite game. If you do not have a yard, or you prefer, I can take your dog on a walk near your home.
