We are an active, fun, dog loving couple near Lake Merced in San Francisco. We would love to walk with your dog. We also love to hike, camp, swim, and play sports! One of us (Desmond) has grown up and lived with many dogs for over 30 years - big and small dogs, and all different breeds! Many of these dogs were rescues with behavioural challenges. Desmond has also learnt to handle dogs from his brother who is a very capable dog trainer and has experience training police dogs. Laura has tons of experience taking care of dogs while their owners have been out of town, including drop-in visits, housesitting, pet stays, and walking dogs. She has had 5+ years living and taking care of cats (including 1 year of experience taking care of a very sick cat). We currently do not have pets or children, although many of our friends have dogs and/or kids. Since only one of us is attending full-time graduate school, and the other working from home, our schedule is very flexible and open, with lots of availability during the day, so your dog will have ample supervision, company, walks, and play time! We understand that each and every dog has different needs, personalities/temperaments, and energy levels. We work hard to adapt and meet the needs of each dog individually. We love all dogs, have lots of experience taking care of all different breeds, and are hoping to get a dog of our own soon!
