Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my entire life. I have both training experience and kennel experience in multi breeds including huskies (which I own), German Short Hair Pointers (you have to love their energy), Labradors ( I grew up with along side GSPs) and Australian Sheppard’s. I also have experience caring for puppies in training. I am confident with high energy breeds and larger dogs but have also worked with small dogs. My own dog Snow is now 3 years old, such a sweet heart and loves meeting new friends! I have two daughters who are gentle and caring when it comes to their furry sister. My husband is in the Coast Guard here in dog friendly Traverse City and I am blessed to stay at home and love on my human and fur babies. Before sitting or caring for any furry friend I would love to meet them to ensure they will be comfortable in my home and around my family. We are always getting outdoors rain, snow, and especially shine! The Tart trail is directly across the street and we love the socialization and excercise it provides. I look forward to meeting new furry friends of Traverse City!

I am confident working with all breeds however I would like additional info on your fur baby. Are there any allergies or food sensitivities? How often and what quantity do you feed your pup? (I love the Costco brand Nature’s Domain which can be provided at a small fee.) Is your dog potty trained? Do they get along with kids and other dogs? How do they prefer to sleep at night? Cuddling with a human companion or on a dog bed? And lastly what are some basic house rules you have set in your home? It’s really important that the same rules in your home apply in my home so your dog has no confusion and will return not expecting to be allowed on the sofa. (If that’s a rule of yours)
A typical day
My family and I are always looking for ways to be outdoors. Having a dog is the perfect excuse and we would love to share that habit. We are often hiking on the many trails around, running on the tart trail across the street, or playing fetch in our fenced yard. Rain, snow and especially shine!
