Pet care experience
At Waggy Wanderers, I believe in the importance of meeting your pets mental requirements as well as their physical needs. When your dogs walk with me, they get a great combination of games and training designed to stimulate their brains as well as a wide variety of walking locations to keep them interested and build confidence. Having personal experience with border collies, staffies, german shepherds, and working pointers and labradors prior to starting a pet care business I am familiar with many breed-specific traits, play styles and a wide range of canine personalities.

Couldn't recommend Laura enough. She was so patient with our nervous daschund and they are now best friends. She gave us regular updates and photos. The dogs had a great time. Will definitely be booking again.
Laura grew up with dogs in her life and it shows! She loves going out on long walks with her current pup, Theo (rain or shine) and has owned and cared for lots of small animals too.

When you can't take them with you, leave them with me and relax in the knowledge that your small pets will be looked after in a loving home from home environment. Guinea pigs are boarded in the 5 star "Piggy Palace" where they will be given plenty of time to roam free (supervised) in their very own room. Smaller furries, lizards, snakes and birds all welcome with as much or as little human interaction as they like. Pets are boarded in my specially adapted office room with a double entry system to prevent any possibility of escape. Unfortunately I cannot board dogs in my home at this time. I look after a pet owner's home as if it were my own. While i'm pet sitting, I am happy to water plants, take out bins and receive parcels, and of course you'll come back to a clean and tidy home - just the way you left it! Keys are stored in a lockbox when not in use, and labelled using my unique labelling system to prevent a thieve from accessing your home in the event that keys were lost or stolen.

Before our meet and greet i'll send you a form with questions about your dog's personality and any special requirements for you to fill out and return. This makes sure all the important topics are covered and I can assess where your dog will fit in best on our walks. During the meet and greet we'll chat more about your dog, and this is your opportunity to ask me questions too! Depending on your dogs needs, a trial walk may be required. If your dog is to join in with group walks, I prefer to do a few solo walks first to make sure they trust and respond to me before placing them in a carefully selected group.
A typical day
If you choose an hour long dog walk, your dog will join our small group (maximum 4 dogs, solo walks available) for a 60 minute wander, tailored to suit your dog's physical and mental capabilities, with plenty of games and training to stimulate his/her brain. For higher energy dogs, we will collect your dog in the morning and take them for a half day Wild Waggy Wander. Locations will vary but include beaches, woodlands, and hilly hikes. Dogs will be returned sleepy and content - don't expect much movement for the rest of the day! Minimum duration is 3 hours, but may be up to 5 depending on location. While on a typical pet sit, I will walk your dog(s) in the morning and evening. During the day pets may be left alone while I carry out my other dog walks, but I will pop back to give the dogs a midday comfort break. If additional walks are required during the day, this will be reflected in the price (this will be agreed upon before the start of the pet sit). Animals get plenty of love and attention while i'm in the home, including cuddles, games and training.

Availability
I am full time provider of pet services. Dog walks/pet visits are carried out regularly Mon-Fri, with half-day Wild Waggy Wanders available at weekends on request. Pet sits on weekdays may require your pet to be left alone for up to 4 hours, this can be discussed in advance. Weekend pet sits are available.
