Thank you Laura for taking such good care of Smoochie

After reading so many positive reviews I debated posting, but then thought this might be helpful to others as I was so surprised at the disconnect between what I read and saw firsthand. We had pre booked and paid for the day, to test out in advance of a planned trip for which we thought Laura might be an option. The conditions of house and backyard would have been enough to deter us, but the complete lack of any engagement with us or our dog set off warning bells. We were hit by the overpowering smell at the door which caused our dog to pull away, and Laura didn’t greet us, show interest in him, and it was like pulling teeth to get her to answer basic questions about boarding. An example exchange with my daughter inquiring about the cats, we were told she had two, then three when we saw the third, then four. We asked to see where he’d go out, which was a very small backyard full of junk, and despite no other dog there there was poop on back deck. We opted to let her have the paid day and took our dog home.
