We absolutely love dogs! We honestly would have 10 if we could. Both my husband and I have grown up with dogs, and have 3 of our own: Scout (terrier mix), Daisy (cattle dog mix), and Nash (German Shepherd). We have one child, age 4, and he has only known dogs since he was born. My husband and I work from home full-time (both pre- and post-pandemic), and will actively care and play with your dog/puppy as much as they wish. We are a very active family, and love going for daily walks or let the dogs run around the backyard. We are extremely responsible, caring, and consider all dogs as part of the family. We will make sure the same goes for any dog that comes into our home, no matter how long the stay. Our home is on an acre of land with air conditioning/heat, lots of dog beds, ceiling fans in each bedroom, a security system, and cameras outside as well to monitor the entire property. We do not have a fenced in yard as they aren’t allowed in Hawthorn Woods, but we do have a well-built dog run with turf installed for bathroom breaks; we let our dogs out here to go potty or just enjoy outside when there is nice weather. Our dogs run freely in our yard and are trained not to leave it, however, we will do what you would like with your dog and ensure they are safe and stay with us at all times!
