Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs my whole life and have ranged from small to large dogs! I have my masters degree in Biochemistry from Clemson University. I worked at a Veterinary Clinic for 8 years while in high school and college. I am an Animal Friends volunteer and teach animal safety/care to children. I continually care for family and friends pets while they are away.

Laura was attentive and kept us up to date with each visit. She was professional and paid close attention to detail, and our kitties were very at ease when we got home even though we had been away for several days!
Laura is fantastic!! She stayed with our fur baby kitty cat over the Christmas holiday. We hate leaving our little girl by herself and Laura is extremely caring, responsible, and has impeccable attention to detail. We would love to have Laura back anytime. She’s amazing!!
Laura responded quickly when we needed a pet sitter at the last minute. She was very patient with our shy dog, and he quickly warmed up to her. It was nice to enjoy our time out and not have to worry about him. We knew he was in good hands! We'll definitely be using Laura again in the future.

I have experience with all animals and have even had a diabetic dog as a child that I cared for. There is not much I cannot handle! Personally I own a 160 lb. Great Dane, so I do not discriminate by size of the animal! If you are wondering why I do not have recent reviews, I did take a Rover break from 2020-2022 due to adopting a special needs dog of my own.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with dogs- frisbee, throwing the ball, anything your pet enjoys! Personally I love getting exercise with dogs- nothing better for the mind and spirit!

Availability
I work as a full time educator 7am-3pm, but am available anytime outside of that time window! I enjoy being outside and getting exercise playing and walking dogs! From June 10- August 18, I am available at anytime and any day!
