Availability
I am a college student at Agnes Scott College. Because of this, I can only offer services during winter, summer, March, and for holidays (Thanksgiving, etc.). Whenever I am home, I am usually either taking a summer class, working on my gardens, or finding another craft to learn, and have a very flexible schedule to take care of and spend time with your pets, and I am able to accommodate all of your needs. To ease your mind during your absence, I can provide regular photo updates of your pets, ensuring they are well cared for. In case I am not available: My dad started Rover after I left for college (late 2023), and has been pet sitting through Rover full time ever since - he loves having all the pets at home and meeting so many sweet new animals. https://r.rover.com/GqHwWw. That is the link to his profile. If my availability does not work for you, I highly recommend him! I know I am biased, but I have seen him take care of any and all pets as if they are his children, and I know that your pet will be well cared for whether they are in my care or his.

Meet & Greets: I usually do meet and greets at a dog park nearby, and if I am not available, I can meet over video chat (usually a google meet). I am not comfortable with meet and greets inside my house, since I have had bad experiences with this in the past. A little about my home: my backyard is securely fenced, pets are allowed on furniture and most areas of the house (not the newer carpeted areas), and I live with my family. The family dynamic with the pets is very strong - we love having pets around and making new friends. My brother likes having sleepovers with dogs and playing fetch, while my dad loves watching movies and having movie marathons with a roomful of pets. It is a guarantee that your pet will never be left alone in my home. I started pet sitting as a way to help my family out financially, and help bring furry friends back into our home after we had lost one. While in my home, your pet will have a temporary, loving family that will ensure they are never left alone. My fenced yard allows for plenty of room for your pets to play in. I will play with them as much as they let me, and I will give them lots of love and affection.

Information Laura C. would like to know about your pet
If your pets profile is not up to date/or does not include the following, please include it in your message. Let me know what your pet’s unique habits are so we can best get along! It is also important to know what commands they know, as well as the rules they follow in your house (if they are allowed on furniture, etc.), as well as their daily routines - what time do they wake up? What time do they eat? What time(s) do they normally go out? Have they ever had any accidents in the house, if so, why? In addition, please let me know if your pet has ever experienced any food aggression, or has had a history of being aggressive/protective over their area. A lot of people ask what they should bring, and I figure I could list it here. Common things that are brought are their bed, toys, food and water bowls, medicine(if they have any), and treats. Please make sure that your pet has enough to last the duration of their stay, and if possible, please label everything.
A typical day
A typical day with me: I usually wake up later, but when I am petsitting, I wake up earlier, and I start their usual routine (going outside, or breakfast, etc.). I love to teach pets new tricks, and play with them throughout the day. They will mostly be following me throughout daily adventures of gardening, studying, watching a movie, and taking walks around the neighborhood, in addition to following their normal routine with me.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was little. I had a Newfoundland dog and a bunny, which gave me experience caring for bigger animals and exotic pets. I have experience giving pets medicine and syringe feeding, and am comfortable with a lot of the usual uncomfy medical caring of pets. I have been doing rover since 2023, and have learned a lot about pets and how to best navigate any boarding situation, to take the best care of any pet no matter the age, breed, or size. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, dog walking, and day care. I am very passionate about animals, and like to learn about the pets I board/pet sit. I find it fun to learn about their personalities and spend time with them.
Cat care experience

Laura also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
