Even though the apartment is fairly big, I only care for one dog at time, so your furry companion will be getting all the attention he/she needs. I may however, host two dogs from the same family or overbook previous guests together depending on my availability, and if both pet owners are in agreement and both dogs are friendly. I like to have the dogs around the house with me but I'm able to separate them with a playpen if necessary. I am insured and certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and can provide the certificate upon request. Our apartment is on the 2nd floor, up a flight of stairs and no elevator, but I’m willing to carry your pets up and down as long as they are comfortable being picked up by strangers. We don’t have a yard but I love to go to the park when the weather is nice. You are welcome to pack anything you think your dog might need to be comfortable but, in case you forget something I have the basics ( food and water bowls, toys, blankets, etc).

Pet care experience
*Meet and greets are required for first time clients.* Hi! My name is Laura, I’m a freelancer web designer currently working from home, and I’m very excited to take care of your pup. I always had dogs at home until I moved to NY. They used to live inside the house, sleep with us in bed and share our routines, and I invite your dog to do the same. I currently have no pets of my own, but since moving to NY, I’ve been a volunteer at an animal shelter for the past 5 years. I live with my mom, Luzia, she is a visual artist who also loves dogs and will be very excited to give lots of attention to your pup as well. Here is a breakdown of the services I offer. Day care/ Boarding • Free Meet & Greet happens at my place before booking confirmation • I am home most of the time when boarding and all day for daycare • I care for 1 (one) small dog at a time with no restrictions to age or breed ** * * Overbooking is only possible for repeat clients or dogs from the same family, with a maximum of 2 (two) dogs at the same time and pending my availability. I will try my best to send daily updates and pictures of your pup and guarantee a house full of toys, treats and love. I can't wait to welcome your dog!

Laura has become our go-to babysitter for all of our weekends or longer periods away. She is kind, caring, patient, and extremely communicative. We know we have nothing to worry about when we leave our dog with Laura.
