I was born with an affinity for dogs, and I have spent my life fostering this relationship. For 3 years I worked as a care handler at a no-kill shelter, walking, training, and caring for hundreds of dogs of all different sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. I completed behavior modification training and meet all requirements to be a certified dog behaviorist. Currently I volunteer as a shelter manager at another no-kill shelter, which is a dream come true. I strive to always use time spent with any dog not as just exercise but also as a learning experience for the dog and myself. Exercise is an incredibly important part of a dog's mental and physical well-being, but it can be difficult to fit into our busy schedules. Pulling and poor leash behavior are also reasons people may be less inclined to walk their dogs often, and I'm happy to work on these issues with positive reinforcement-based training. I look forward to being able to help people and their four-legged children be happy and healthy!
