Hello everyone, As you know my name is Laura, but let me take a few minutes to tell you a little more about me. I took some time away from Rover after getting engaged in August of 2020, to buying a house, then giving birth to my son, and finally getting married in October 2021. I am glad to be back and very excited to meet some new faces! So here I am happily married with very active baby boy, 3 dogs, and many reptiles. My son, Archer, comes with me to any home I stay at so it is very important any dogs I'm watching over are comfortable with children. I actively work with my son and our dogs on how to interact and respect each other. Keeping up on training is important to keep our household from chaos. When I younger, I spent many years doing researching on wolves and understanding their behavior and the pack structure. I used to dream of being a wolf behaviorist when I got older. Even though I didn't follow through with that dream, the knowledge I gained has helped me in my interactions with dogs.

Laura is a ROCK STAR. Laura recently watched our two dogs and three cats and was FABULOUS. She sent photos everyday and usually we are out of the country and not able to receive the pictures but this time we did and it was GREAT. She is professional, provides GREAT pet care and was a dream to work with while away.
Laura did an awesome job with my 3 pups. She took such great care of them. I was nervous about leaving the country and leaving my dogs. She sent daily pictures and communicated with me daily. Her son Archer is a great helper. He gave my dogs lots of love and attention. I would highly recommend Laura and will use her again in the future.
Laura house sat for our three cats and our dog. She is AWESOME! She did a meet and greet and answered all our questions and did a fabulous job. If you need someone who is responsible, great with animals and pleasant to work with this is your girl. Our pets loved her so much they even showed her affection in our presents once we got home.
Laura did wonderful we are so grateful, she was so loving to our Pirate, he slept in all day after we came home! We could tell he was happy and wasn't stressed. Thank you so much for taking care of our 4 legged kids! Pirate told us you are now his official pet sitter!

Growing up I have been taught to live by the Golden Rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. With that in mind, I take care of any pets I am watching over as if they are my own. In my experience, certain smells can be a lot for a nervous or shy dog. Depending on how the dogs act when I walk inside I may not engage them and only talk to the pet parent until the dogs show they are comfortable around me. Since I stay in the home of my clients I also keep the house exactly as the pet parent left it. If a pet parent has taken the time to clean their house before they leave the least I can do is make sure the house is still clean when they arrive back home.

A typical day
I am a high energy person that can also remain very calm when needed to be. I am very patient with dogs and understand that some dogs need some time to warm up to a new person. With high energy dogs, I do my best to play with them and get their energy out. I will play any game they enjoy. With low energy dogs, I love to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. When I stay over night with dogs, I do not mind if they want to sleep with me and cuddle. My dogs all sleep in bed with me every night. As a pet parent myself, I understand it is hard to leave your pups at home. I will try my best to keep you well updated on how your pups are doing and send lots of pictures.

I have a very open schedule since being a stay home mama to sweet baby boy. I do try to make the most out of family time on my husband's off days, which are Sunday and Monday.
