Welcome to Payton and pals

Pet care experience

Hi, Im a professional dog trainer. I’ve been training, walking dogs and pet sitter for 11 years. I’m liscensed, insured and bonded. I have 3 years experience as a veterinary technician. I started payton and pals because I love dogs, love being outdoors and really enjoy helping owners create harmony with their pets at an affordable rate. Im lucky I get to do something Im passionate about for a living. Payton and pals has been my full time job for 8 years now. I specialize in high energy dogs, leash pullers, and anti social, insecure and fearful dogs. All of my walks are structured walks meaning your dog gets mental stimulation along with physical exercise. This is what dogs thrive on! What I offer : -Walks (Pack or Private) -Bike rides ( great for high energy dogs) -Home visits (potty breaks, medication application and TLC) -Pet Sitting (in your home.) All of my services Include a GPS tracker snap shot showing our walk route, miles and duration of visit. I also include pictures during and after our outing. So you know your pup had fun along with helping ease your mind while your away at work or on vacation.

Laura was awesome with Luna! She let her out and played with her. It was great having the peace of kind that my dog was being cared for!

We love Laura in my house. After I lost my 14 year old lady mutt, I made some irrational, emotional decisions. One was to bring home two new rescues at about the same time when I also had a 12 year old pup at home. One of the new additions was a 5- month old female border collie, pit mix, who already had food aggression and resource guarding issues, and the other was a 7-year old male, Dogo Argentinian mastiff mix. The puppy was cute and puppyish but he had been shuffled around from foster to foster for about two years. Though he loves himself some humans, he was not great with other dogs and was fighting with all of mine. I realized pretty quick that I needed help, and the rescue arranged to send the boy to a trainer. After several weeks of working with him at her facility, she told me that I would not be able to keep both him and the puppy and would need to give one up. But, I adored him and my other dog loved the puppy. It wasn't a choice I wanted to make. I cried and cried. Then I called Laura. I described the trouble to her and, even before our first session, she gave me advice that immediately aided us in getting along. By our second session, I no longer had to keep them all separated when I left for work, and now. Well, now we are a dream pack. All three snuggle, play and pack walk together. I take them with me to bars and restaurants (with patios, of course) and people are always so in love with how well behaved they are. All of this to say, Laura is awesome and the best dog trainer you will meet.

Laura was our TWO BIG Dogs TRAINER /Walker in Calif. She changed our lives & Our Unknowing poor habits that allowed our two big boys to act out uncontrollably while on walks, in our our front yard & at our front door. In no time at all Laura trained our two big boys and ourselves, leaving us with the two best boys on our block! We have grown older and her training has allowed us to enjoy our big boys & live in great harmony without the bad behaviors they had when she came to us. Laura is our saving Angel We will always owe her great amounts of gratitude & Love for what she gave us in our big boys. We have 4 total. The other two tiny poodles. Our Big Biys behave Better then the poodles all because of the Positive training techniques & knowledge Laura brings to the dogs and their owners she works with!

Our yellow lab, Buddy, loves Laura and their walks together. We also love the fun pictures she takes during their walks. Laura is the greatest!

Information laura T. would like to know about your pet

I do not believe in breed restrictions. All dogs from big to small are welcome in my care. I accept dogs with behavioral problems as well. Please let me know if your dog has bitten a dog and or human so I can make sure your pet stays safe. Your pets needs and safety are my first priority so the more details the better.

A typical day

During my stay I will provide daily training activities with your dog so if there’s anything you have been working on or would like to master please let me know otherwise Ill add in basic mentail stimulation: naming toys, duration stays, recal, walking at heel on a loose lead to name a few. Depending on the dog and their energy levels we will go for a private walk or run a day. During any outdoor activities I will not unleash your dog even if they are off leash trained. I do not attend dog parks but would gladly add your dog to our pack walks at an additional charge to keep them social. If you don’t want any of the above just let me know. I’m here to keep your pets relaxed, comfortable and safe while your away.
