Pet care experience
I have had dogs for many years, have taken care of many of my friend's dogs, and have gotten along with animals that don't usually get along with anyone else. I will follow your rules with your dog. As well as have respect for your boundaries if I need to enter your home. My sense of responsibility has been tested many times in the past and am positive that I can handle anything your dog throws at me. My military experience has taught me to adapt to different attitudes and temperaments without being submissive. Your pet will be in safe hands when he/she is with me, and will get plenty of attention and some treats. Let me care for your pet, I love having an excuse to get outside no matter what the weather is.

I always wait to do reviews until I have at latest two experiences with sitter. Glad I did!. The 1st time was good, Laura was late getting home at our appointed time, but was will to rearrange some events. The 2nd Experience was BAD! Laura called me two hours before drop off to tell me she has can not watch my dog. I understand so called emergencies, but I really think she should have made other arrangements to help find a sitter. There is very little you can do within a two hour window. Thank goodness for great neighbors. ROVER!!! You need to do something about these sitters calling out at the last minute. This is the 2nd time this has happened. And you DID nothing. $20.00 does nothing when you are leaving on vacation and don't have time to select another sitter. SHAM on you!
Laura was an absolute star. She took great care of my dog for a fairly long stretch of time. I'm sure my dog thought he was at summer camp. She exercised him, gave him his meds, and tended to all of his needs. Would recommend to anyone in need of a trustworthy caretaker for their dog.
Laura was great with our dog, Nino. She was responsive and accommodating with our requests. Highly recommend her.
We love Laura! And, it's easy to see she loves our dog too. Laura recently hosted our dog, Gracie, at her place for almost a week. Gracie is very attached to us and it takes her about 3 days to adjust to someplace/someone new. Laura didn't give up trying tho. She kept us updated, handled it with a sense of humor, was prompt to respond and was very willing g ti try our suggestions

I love to care for small dogs as well as dogs the size but not taller than a Rottweiler. I have nothing against pittbuls or similar breeds as long as they are not of aggressive nature. Before caring for your dog I would like to know their temperament and size as well as any rules that you have for them.
A typical day
You dog will be able to join me on hikes that I go on frequently, I know of some great dog parks and other walking destinations around the state. I love to play games like "fetch" with high energy dogs as well as go on runs.
