Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover and care taker since I could crawl. My first job was to care for my dogs! It’s such a gift to create a bond with an animal. Personally, I have experienced the joys of both dogs and cats but also hermit crabs, ducks, mice, fish and even a pet goat! Most recently, I ‘fostered’ two dogs that I ended up adopting until their time on earth came to an end. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats at any stage in their life. I miss them everyday and I would love to love on your fur babies!

Laura spent 4 nights with our dog at our home, and she was a delight to work with. She was excellent at giving comfort, companionship, and love to our Golden Retriever. She also was very respectful of the house and left it in great condition, and her frequent photos helped alleviate our pangs of missing our dog. She is great and I will use her again!
Laura is so sweet and did such a great job taking care of my pups. She updated me daily and sent me pictures of them while I was gone. Highly recommend!!

As mentioned above, I have a fenced in yard and am just a four minute walk to Coliseum Square Park! Your fur babies would have their own room if needed for crate training or could stay with me. I just want you and your fur babies to be happy and comfortable at all times. I work from home so I’m very diligent with walks and believe they are vital for a dogs well being. I could also walk your cat as well. As with any job, I take my responsibility for caring for your fur baby very seriously. This means cleaning, feeding, walking, loving and general assessment of health at all times.

Let me know if your fur family member has any special needs that need extra attention. I have a nursing background that has proven to be very helpful for these special considerations. Medication administration, monitoring symptoms and conditions to promote efficacy of healing/treatment plan(s) and knowledge of general anatomy and physiology of mammals. I just want to know all vital bits of information that will help me to take the best care of your furry family member(s)!
A typical day
I can’t wait to become fast friends with your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard and am just a 3 minute walk to coliseum square park which would be one of the many spots we could go on adventures together. I’m also an amazing cuddler, love it, thrive on good cuddles and tender sweet moments showing fur friends how loved they are with snuggle fests. I’m also doing this because I miss my dogs and have love to give and would love to share that when you physically cannot. I’m a bit believer that animals can understand the sentiment of what is being spoken to them and see them as friends so I will be speaking to them often about where you are, that you are coming back and that they are loved so much. It’s important to communicate with them during this time to help with the stress of the disruption of their normal routine. I just want your fur baby to be happy and for you to be at ease during this service. Also, I love sending updates and believe it’s a vital part of pet sitting for both owner and provider. We are all in this together so let’s make it the best it can be!

Availability
I work from home so my schedule is very open for all that you and your fur babies would need! I can board animals any night of the week. I have a fenced in yard and just a four minute walk to Coliseum Square Park! There is even a spare room for them here! Am open to house calls, dog walks, house sitting, ect.
