Pet care experience
Welcome to my “Play and Stay” dog & cat boarding, dog walking, dog sitting, fur/feather/fins & scales feeding business page. I would love to support, nurture, play with & make sure your “fur/feather/fins & scales babies are well cared for and each dog walked for 30 min. is charged a separate fee for each dog walked near your home or being boarded/at my place or feed them at yours. You can relax & enjoy your vacation, business trip or even a day trip with the rest of your family knowing your dog(s) and cat(s) are in loving, qualified, safe hands. I’ve owned, cared for, “baby sat” & boarded large dogs since I was a child. I have also been a pet parent for a miriad of other animals (a snake-named, Ira-after famed composer Ira Gerswin) bunnies, turtles, gerbils ((OMG, the GERBILS-started with 2 which, created more than 50 within months in a habitrail!!)), fish, a cockatiel, cats and a partridge in a pear tree) most of my life. My love, care & understanding of animals has been a joy for me. My fur & feather “babies” are gifts to me. Faith, my 13 yr old white German Shepard rescue, passed away and I am not ready to adopt another angel yet. My teenaged rescue cockatiel, Maxx is a ROCKSTAR! Maxx has been around large hunting dogs and cats as well. Thank you for allowing me the priviledge to care for member(s) of your family as if they were my own. I live a block away from a pet hospital, rest assured your dog(s) & cat(s) are in loving, capable and fun hands. I build positive working relationships with families. I love referrals, reviews and I look forward to working with your family and your wonderful fur/feather/fins and/or scales baby(s) for years to come. Please note: Pick up times for your fur babies are at noon. If you do not pick up your fur baby by noon on the agreed upon day, you will be charged another full day. The addendum to this contract is non-negotiable.
Reviews
Great- 3rd time I have used Laura to watch over Maggie. I know while she is there she is cared for and loved just like at home.
Laura was great with our somewhat anxious, almost two year old pup. She sent us lots of updates and photos. Her large fenced in yard is fabulous for our dog who needs lots of exercise. It is obvious she loves dogs and works hard to make them comfortable when they are in her care.
Laura loves my dog to pieces and he loves staying with her!
Laura was great she put my mind at ease so I could focus on my trip. Definitely, will return to her if when I leave town. *****

Information Laura B. would like to know about your pet
Do they have a “nook”, (stuffed toys they adore) treat times, feeding schedules, potty schedules and all dog(s) MUST be leash trained and house broken. *** Please let me know if your dog(s) has separation anxiety, aggression issues, medical conditions or phobias. We can partner together to make a plan which, ensures win-win outcomes for your beloved pet(s). If there are fun games your dog(s) or cat(s) love to play, catch with a ball or a frisbee the back yard is very accommodating. Maxx can be separated while in his cage. Breeds will be considered depending upon temperament. You provide the following for their “Play and Stay”: crate(s), dog/cat tags w/your contact info, collars, leashes (extenders-must be capable of restraining the power/weight of the dog) toys, favorite blankets, dog/cat beds, enough food & treats, poop bags or disposable cat boxes and medicines for your pet(s). My life long commitment treating animals ethically while, encouraging play & supporting each animals’ distinct personality is my mantra. Maxx, my cockatiel, sings along while I’m listening to Johnny Gill, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Etta James amongst others. Thank you for checking out my “Play and Stay” dog/cat boarding & sitting fur/feather/fins & scales feeding business page. I appreciate your business & your referrals. If I am unavailable, there are many wonderfully giving people on rover.com whom are very qualified to meet your families needs as well. Interesting fact: Rover only accepts 20% of the applicants they receive to work their own businesses through Rover. Cheers, Laura B. P.S. “R.A.R”- Rescue Animals ROCK!
A typical day
Playing & walks take place in my back yard. The safety of the dogs pads (grass isn’t as hot/cold as pavement/sidewalks) is paramount. This allows less distractions for them and plenty of room to run, play fetch, tug of war & play time.
