Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs (my own and neighbors’/friends’ dogs) since I was a teenager. I’ve cared for highly active dogs, aggressive dogs, and elderly dogs alike all without having any incidents. Since my last dog passed away, I love spending time with dogs and incorporating them into my active lifestyle with lots of walking and hiking. I hope to get the opportunity to do so with your furry loved one!

Before booking a house sitting visit, it’s very helpful to know your dog’s eating schedule, activity level, medical concerns/any medication needed, and general expectations about how many pictures/updates you’d like while you’re gone.
A typical day
Depending on the activity level/ability of the dog, I’ll take them on a long walk after my morning coffee. Then, we hang out inside or on the porch if it’s nice outside and either read a book while cuddling with the pups or throwing the ball for them. I like to adapt my schedule as much as possible to best accommodate the preferences of the dog and family’s needs!

Availability
I work part-time, so I can spent most of the day with your pups. I’m very active, so I love taking the dogs I care for on long walks or hikes if they’re up for it. For smaller or less active dogs, I’m also just happy to just hang out with them around the house during the day. I do have a 9-5 office job, so please let me know if your dogs can’t be alone for eight hours. I can usually take a long lunch to go home and let the dogs out if needed.
