I would love to know about your dog's usual routines at home. Is he/she crated during the day, or does he/she prefer to roam the house? How long is he/she usually left alone on a typical day? Does your dog get along with other dogs/people? How does your dog do on walks? Is your dog on any medications? I have no specific breed preferences, and my dog generally gets along with all dogs (however, she is more immediately comfortable around dogs that are her size or smaller).

He/she is welcome to sleep on the bed with me, on a dog bed in my room, or in a crate if that is what he/she is used to. Time I'll spend with your dog I am an elementary teacher, so during the school year I am usually gone from about 7am - 4:30pm. My own dog has a large crate which she sleeps in during the day, but I also have a large dog door and completely fenced back yard, and for dogs that spend their time lounging around the house, they would have full range of the inside and outside space. During the summer, however, my schedule is much more open, and I prefer to spend most of my time outside, either in the back yard, or taking my own dog on long walks. I am often only gone for short errands on any given day, and even then, I take my own dog (and any dog I might be watching) with me whenever possible.
