Pet care experience
I have experience with all ages of dogs and am happy to accommodate your family's schedule and your dog’s routine. My dogs have had very different personalities, and I am an active volunteer and foster with Lifeline Animal Service - so I know how to accommodate both high energy, playful dogs and laid back or shy dogs. I am willing to accommodate your pets' needs and want to make them (and you!) feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know firsthand how it can be nerve wracking to allow someone to take care of your loved ones, so I’m dedicated to providing frequent updates and pictures during our time together.

Laura Ann has hosted my dog, an older lab mix, at her home, and she was absolutely wonderful! She clearly has such a love for animals (including two great pups of her own) and cared for my dog just like I would have. My dog Sasha is friendly and easy-going, if your pet likes to have a friend around! When we leave home (which will not be for long or often when your pet stays with us), we will separate Sasha and your pet through crates and/or puppy gates - depending on what your pet's preferences are.

Let me know your family's specific schedule so I can make your dog feel as comfortable as possible during our visit. I will also bring treats, so please let me know what preference you have for treats for your animals. I am recently back to Rover after taking off for some time to care for my 17 y/o senior pup who recently passed, so I am also familiar with the attention and care needed for older pets.
A typical day
I live nearby several neighborhoods that are great for dog-walking and also include trails. We regularly visit local dog parks and Freedom Barkway is a short walk from our apartment.
