Hej! I'm Laura, I'm 23 years old and I just recently moved to Stockholm in January from Spain to study my masters degree at Stockholm University. Since I have always been passionate about animals I figured creating a profile as a petsitter is an amazing gig for me. I started out taking care of pets last year in the US when I was there for my gap year and I loved the job. Now, I’m looking forward to continue taking care of animals in Sweden :) Through all my life I've always had all sorts of pets (dogs, cats, guinea pugs, fish and birds). Moreover, I´ve taken care of street animals whenever I find them until I can find them a new home. Currently, I have a dog and a cat that live in Spain because I couldn't bring them here to Sweden (at least for now). Since I don't have my pets with me I want to work with animals because I'm very used to taking care of my pets and I love it very much. I consider myself an active and energetic person who enjoys a lot walking around the forest. I am living in a student accommodation, therefore, I couldn't board any pets at my place, but I can offer petsitting and dog walking services! Moreover, I would also be available over the summer to take care of your pets As I said in my description, I cannot board any pets at the moment since I am living in a student dorm where they do not allow pets. However, when I take dogs for a walk I like to go out between 30 minutes and 1 hour to give them a good amount of exercise, depending on the energy level of the dog. Since I know every dog/cat is very different, I appreciate when pet owners describe to me their pet's needs and preferences so I can understand what type of activities and games can be more appropriate and make the pups feel more comfy!
