Pet care experience
Since I was 3yrs old I’ve been around dogs. A lot of my best memories have involved a dog in some way. I’ve had an Alaskan, two Belgian shepherds, a mixed breed, a pit bull and a Boston terrier. I’ve trained two of them and helped them develop social skills after been rescued from abusive situations. For the others, I trained them since they were puppies. I currently do not own any dogs, which breaks my heart (I don’t know how to do life without having a dog). I moved from Mexico two years ago to study my Master’s, and since then I haven’t had a dog (cries in Spanish). In Pittsburgh, I’ve pet sitter for my friends’ Samoyed, Boston terrier and two other mixed breed dogs. I can pet sit in my home and I can also go to yours or accommodate to your specific needs.

Laura is amazing! Very accommodating to both owner and puppy’s needs. She’s very easy to get a hold of and responds quickly. And she takes great pictures of your baby! My Cronus has a great time and will definitely be coming back!
My dog loved spending time with Laura and her boyfriend, even despite him typically being more anxious with men. He also has some separation anxiety, but he was so excited to see her a second time he didn't even turn around to watch me leave. He was also very tired when he got home.
Excellent dog sitter! She took great care of my little pup even with some difficult circumstances. I would trust her with my pup again!
Laura is one of the most caring and responsible people that I've been lucky enough to get to know during my time in Pittsburgh. Aside from the requisite characteristic of being a dog lover through-and-through, Laura possesses all the qualities that one could want in a dog sitter: she is reliable, easy going, has a keen eye for detail, and is great company, for people and pets alike! The people of Pittsburgh would be lucky to have her watch their doggos :)

I live in an apartment with my boyfriend. He also loves dogs and gets very excited every time we have one around. There is a park nearby where I like to go. I also enjoy jogging and walking, so even from my home I make it all the way to Frick park. I do not own any puppies and I do not pet sit dogs from different families at the same time.

I love any type of dog; size, gender, breed or age do not matter. I have plenty experience with aggressive dogs and anxious/scared dogs that were mistreated in the past. I would like to know if your pupper is aggressive/ nervous towards kids/people/ other dogs so I can provide good care of him/her when talking walks or interacting with others. I don’t mind this, I just need to know, as mentioned before I love all dogs. Each dog is special and different, therefore they all need a special type of love and caring. The more information I have about them the better.
A typical day
Frequent walks, Bernard Dog run, frick park. Length and frequency of walks depend on your doggo’s age and energy. I am a natural ball thrower and enjoy playing.

Availability
If it’s for house sitting during weekdays I can stay all evening (5ish) and overnight and leave early in the morning. For weekends I am available all day. Walks are included in my services (as frequent as your pup needs).
