Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Laura. Apart from my childhood experiences growing up with and caring for my family dog, I am a recent college graduate with an Animal Science degree whose sole passion is the care of animals. While in school, I became involved with The Seeing Eye Guide School's puppy raising program. As a full-time student, I raised a female German Shepherd from a tiny 6-week-old puppy to a one year old adult. I assumed all the responsibilities of a dog owner, which included feedings, walking, vet care, and training. When my own pup returned to The Seeing Eye for formal training, I continued to share my experience with younger raisers and puppy-sat other dogs-in-training at least once a week. I received many compliments on my attentive care and training knowledge. I now work full-time at a top tier veterinary school and my role there still involves caring for creatures big and small. I hope to use this site to continue sharing my passion for first-rate animal care. I hope to meet your pup soon!
Reviews
Laura is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to dog care and training. She has looked after many of my family members' dogs over the years, including my own, and is always loving, professional, punctual, and responsible. I would recommend Laura above all others for wonderful and attentive care!

Information Laura A. would like to know about your pet
Any behavioral tendencies or preferences. Are they a strong puller? Do they need a long lead? Do they not like interacting with other dogs while on walks?
A typical day
I will opt for routes that offer a sensory experience for your pet. Walks should stimulate the mind, therefore, wooded trails or parks with lots of smells would be ideal.
