My name is Laura. I live in Manhattan. I’ve had a dog in my life pretty much since the day I was born. My last dog, Bubu, lived with me 13 years until I had to let her go due to illness. I haven’t had a dog ever since. And I miss that a lot. I have had experience walking at least 5 different dogs since 2016 here in the city. We walk to the park and spend some time with other dogs or simply walk around. After that I take them home, clean paws, feed them and/or keep them company for a little while. All depends on the dog’s parents preferences. While walking the dogs I try to not listen to music on my earphones nor keep on playing with my phone to be aware of my surroundings. I like the idea of spending time with these lovely creatures, I love and enjoy dogs a lot. This is a job that truly makes me happy because it also keeps me active and gives me the opportunity to be with a dog now that I don’t have my own. I am a fast learner, very responsible, organized and reliable. Thank you!
