Pet care experience
Hi I'm Laura! I'm a teacher and life-long dog lover. Large or small, senior or puppy, I love them all! I grew up in a large, dog-loving family, whose furry members include Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Bichon Frises, Labradoodles, and many lovable mutts! I have experience with special diets for senior dogs, as well as administering medication. I am also familiar with the challenges of raising a puppy and taking care of dogs with orthopedic challenges: I rescued a Great Pyrenees/ Lab mix puppy named Aria and has grown to a lovable 80lbs! Aria is a friendly, energetic pup who loves to swim, hike, and play at the dog park. Recently, she was diagnosed with early-onset arthritis, so I have worked some special supplements and physical therapy into her daily routine to help her stay the happy pup she is! As a Baltimore local, I am familiar with both the city and county areas. I would love to meet your pup!

Laura responded quickly to our request. She met Kolby and Moose two weeks before our trip and seemed very comfortable from the outset. The Rover app was not working very well during our vacation, but Laura did keep us updated and took the extra step of calling through the app when she realized her messages were not going through. The dogs seemed very happy and nonplussed in our absence. We would definitely have Laura house-sit for our Puppadogs again!
So caring and thoughtful! Laura went out of her way to ensure my dog felt at home!! She kept in contact daily and sent photos throughout her stay! What a wonderful time and peace of mind we had!
Laura is an awesome pet sitter. She has sat for my two dogs for overnight care and daily visits. She sent me photos of her and the puggles while we were away and kept us up to date with their activities. She walked them daily and snuggled them in her lap.what a kind and giving person and dog sitter she was to my two fur babies.

We can take a walk around your home/ neighborhood, we can spend some time at a local dog park, or take a trip to a park for a hike! If you are working on certain obedience training, I can also help your pup practice their skills: As a music teacher, I know that practice makes perfect ;) I always carry extra waste bags and water on hot days!
