Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Laura and after having 2 wonderful dogs for several decades my husband and I find ourselves without a dog. While we aren’t ready for another dog, we miss having a dog around and would love the opportunity to have your dog visit. We have a dog friendly house and look forward to having a dog to spoil. We both work from home so have plenty of time to pet and walk your pets.

We have a large lanai for your dog to snooze or watch wildlife. Our house is carpet free with plenty of cool tile (if that’s your dogs thing) or comfy rugs if they like it softer. We are happy to have your dogs on couch, if that’s ok with you.

A typical day
Our dogs have always been treated as members of the family and this would be true when your dog visits as well. We are up around 5:30 every morning. I have experience with providing sick dog care, including IVs and other care that might be needed. We have great areas for walks. Dogs can sleep where comfortable, typically family room or in our bedroom. If you'd prefer your dog to be the only dog with us, please let me know. I can accomodate. I'm flexible on drop off/pick up times, but there will be an extra charge when they are not similar (ex. a 7 am drop off and a 9 am pick up has no extra charge. A 7 am drop off and 5 pm pick up has an extra charge).

My husband and I both work from home, so any guests will be looked after all day. Our house is open and casual and we’ve always given dogs free rein over where they hang out.
