Pet care experience
I have been breeding dogs since I was 7 years old and cared for over 200+ puppies since then. When I was 16, I started working at a veterinary hospital as a vet assistant where I worked for four years, with an additional two years at another vet hospital. I attended Cal Poly SLO obtaining a degree in animal science and have now started working at a Veterinary Urgent Care in San Diego! My experience has given me so much knowledge on pet health, care, administering medications, clipping nails, and so much more. I mostly work with dogs and cats but also have experience with exotics like snakes, lizards, chickens, rabbits, and more, as well as some experience with large animals. Whatever your pet needs, I can help!

I have one dog myself, and my roommate has one as well, they are best friends! Since we live in a small apartment, I don't accept boarding at this time, nor do I stay overnight, as I don't want to spend too much time away from my own fur baby! I know how scary it can be for pets to meet, and trust, someone new so I like to come and meet them before my booking, to help them (and you!) get to know me! I am very detail oriented and understand how important routine can be for some pets, so I will do my best to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible while their family is away.

I would love to know a little about your pet so I can be prepared when meeting them! Their name, age, breed, and any special needs are a great place for me to start getting to know them.
A typical day
I love to walk dogs around family neighborhoods or parks, if your pet enjoys that! For higher energy dogs, I can play with their favorite toy or take them to a dog park to run around. I could even take them on hikes if they're up to it! For lower energy, lap dogs I love to wind down and watch a movie giving them all the attention and belly rubs they need!

I currently work 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday, so I am only available to help out on Friday, Saturday or Sundays! I can be available anytime you need me on these days!
