Information Latoya C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your pet requires medicine or any extra attention. I also like to keep pets on their daily feeding schedule. So be sure to share this information as well.
A typical day
Here’s what a typical day might look like: Morning Routine: • Begin with an early morning potty break and brisk walk or jog to release pent-up energy. • Serve breakfast with any required supplements or medications. • Engage in interactive play—fetch, tug-of-war, etc to kickstart the day. Midday/Afternoon Routine: • Mid-morning potty break and backyard time. • Depending on the pet’s energy level and temperament, take a longer walk or a visit to a dog park (if permitted). • Provide downtime with toys or bones to encourage calm, independent behavior. • Monitor rest periods to prevent overstimulation but ensure the dog isn’t bored. • Maintain consistent hydration and monitor for signs of overstress or fatigue. Evening Wrap-Up: • Provide a final potty break and light walk before dinner. • Serve dinner and allow for post-meal relaxation and cuddles, if the dog is affectionate. • Review any notes for the pet owner, including bathroom habits, mood, behavior, and anything unusual. Throughout the day, I stay attentive, patient, and safety-conscious—always tailoring activities to the dog’s breed, age, and preferences. Communication with the owner is also a key part of my service, including sending updates, photos, and videos to provide peace of mind while they’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve had furry family members since the age of 12. Family and friends have relied on me to feed, walk and care for their pets for years. Having had both dogs and cats for many years in the past, I have plenty of hands on experience with both. Experience includes caring for elderly cats and dogs, as well as administering medications.

Reviews

Latoya was welcoming and loving with our two dogs. They were happy pups! She shared regular updates during their stay too.

Couldn’t have had a better experience. Such a sweet, gracious lady. Sent pictures and communicated daily. Loved on my babies, not just “dogs sat.” Even allowed me to pick them up LATE as my flight was delayed! I have my new local “Rover-ine!”
Latoya was very sweet and prompt with her responding. She helped my dog who’s very anxious to feel calm which put me at ease. Would definitely recommend Latoya and use her again for services!
Latoya has cared for my dog for a few years now. I usually travel about twice a month for work and never have to worry about my toy poodle when she’s there. As a matter of fact, Bella runs right into her house like it’s her home. Latoya does a great job staying in touch with me and providing updates while I’m away. I most certainly recommend her for anyone who is need of a dog sitter. She’ll take care of and treat your pet like they are her own.
