Hello, im a recent owner of a loving Maltese, we had a beautiful 14 year toghether, he had developed some heart issues, arthritis, and eventually his kidneys shut down, I miss him dearly!!! It was the most painful thing I had to ever deal with, he passed away this year in September, I still cry to this day, so when I discovered rover, I was so excited to still help people, and still can love and enjoy, and take care of other loving animals..I wasn't really ready to get another one because it was so painful to me, he was like my son, I dont have any children and I have passion for animals, I would see a dead cat in the road and remove it....
