Pet care experience
I've worked with all kinds of breeds and animals including: "bully" breeds, elderly animals, ferrets, an opossum, dogs, cats, and birds. I am patient and understand that not all dogs are friendly with other dogs and/or all people. That's okay! Animals have their own personalities. Safety and comfort (and fun!) are my top priorities. I will make sure that your working dog releases energy in constructive ways. After a fun-filled day outdoors, I will make sure to check your pup for ticks. I typically keep a small first aid kit with me wherever I go because of my own animals (and the fact that I am a wildlife Rehabilitator.) During winter, I will make sure your little guys are warm while still getting all their own energy out! No matter the breed, rest assured that they will be happy and safe under my care. I specialize in positive reinforcement training and have experience training a variety of animals from birds of prey, parrots, dogs, and cats.

Laryssa was a great rover dog sitter for our big lab, Tucker. She came a week early to introduce herself which allowed tucker to get familiar and acquainted. The pictures during visits was a nice update for my wife and while away. Laryssa even took him to the dog park! We highly recommend and hope to use her again!
My mind is now at ease knowing my pooches are being taken care of when I'm running late at work. I had a meet and greet with laryssa and right away I felt comfortable allowing her into our home. She is a very warm, friendly, and responsible person! My fur babies seemed like they have known her forever! I also appreciate the fact that she is flexible with my crazy work schedule. Laryssa was very kind and patient with me while I was trying to find the time to meet with her to introduce our pooches. She is a very caring, knowledgeable, and reliable friend to our dogs. I completely trust her to take care of my spoiled babies and I would recommend her to anyone that loves their animals. I know that she cares about their well being just as much as I do!
Laryssa is one of the most pet loving people I know. She cares about all kinds of animals and can be trusted to do a wonderful job. Your pets will fall in love with her.
Laryssa has a magical way with animals. She is able to calm and train any dog. She met my hyperactive attention hogging dog, Orea, and she got her calmed by loving on her and being stern and Orea surpising listened. She only listens to only me. Laryssa is a wonder.
