We have recently located from Jacksonville Beach, FL, so miss my clients and pooches from there. It took us a while, but are now in our new forever home in Yulee, FL. Doggie daycare/walking/sitting in Pirates Wood, Yulee/ Fernandina area. One acre fenced in yard. Pickup/drop off service available. I love being around and hanging out with dogs. We humans are so blessed by God to have these wonderful animals in our lives. Many years caring for dogs. Have a fenced in yard and will walk and/or wash your dog when they stay, if requested. I offer a customized/homey/personalized experience for your pet. Will send pix of your pet just to let you know they are well and having fun. If you have an emergency and need help with your pooch give me a call. We understand things happen, people have to go out of town suddenly, change in vacation plans, etc. Also, I'd be happy to work on obedience training.

Larry has a huge, fenced yard. Skippy was walked and pampered during his stay. Larry takes the cake!
Larry was great and very patient with our boy when he was super anxious at bed time. If we are in the area again we know he has a welcoming place to stay if needed.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with boarding our medium sized dog, Raymond, with Larry and Becky. They provide a loving home environment that is - in my opinion - far superior to what any kennel could offer in terms of personal care and attention. I loved that Larry sent me regular photos and text updates on how Raymond was doing. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing that he was being well-cared for and happy. (My husband remarked that he was concerned that Raymond might not want to come back to our boring home after all the fun he had at Larry's, LOL.)
Bella had a great time. Larry was great.

Our home in Yulee has lots of shade trees with almost an acre of securely fenced in yard, and lots and lots of squirrels. Also, shaded streets for long walks and bike rides. We give your dog the run of the house as do ours. I highly recommend a meet and greet, so look forward to meeting you and your fur baby.

We do have to limit to small and medium dogs for daycare/boarding. Does not apply to pet walking/sitting. For boarding I recommend kenneling at night, but not all dogs do well with that. Would be happy to work on kennel training for you, if you provide a proper kennel and blankie/bed. Their own dog bed with familiar smells is a good idea, as is a favorite toy(s), treats.
A typical day
Around the perimeter of our yard we have a beautiful nature trail. Occasionally, during the day, I will walk our guest dogs on this. It's part of my exercise routine Does your dog love to play catch? Playing with dogs is so much fun. Maybe there are particular games they like to play, or special toys they have. If your dog loves to run distances I can train them to run next to my bicycle (on leash) - with your permission of course. Most take right to it quickly as dogs love to run.

Recently retired from a 40 yr IT career, and have a flexible schedule. I am home pretty much everyday. Love to spend time playing with our four legged friends. All my life I've had a good rapport with dogs, they are drawn to me. They know good people when they see them I guess. Please see my gallery.
