Pet care experience
Animals are an absolute passion of mine. I love caring for them and learning about all their different personalities. I volunteer and foster animals through New Leash On Life in Huntsville and have been active in many other shelters through North Alabama. I also volunteer through Get Along Little Doggies that walks and trains dogs in Huntsville Animal Services to help them get adopted faster. I have had dogs my entire life and plan on never changing that! Dogs are my life and I treat every single one of them like my own children.

Lara was amazing. My normally sweet 95lb dog decided to act like an only child who wanted her mommy while staying with Lara. She was growling and hiding. Lara handled it professionally and didn't shy away from taking care of my diva dog. She kept me updated and helped me stay calm about the issue while my husband and I took a weekend getaway. She might not want to keep my dog again but I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Very kind, easy to get in touch with. Her home is very clean with a safe fenced in back yard. All around excellent service.
Lara was excellent for my puppy. She kept in contact and sent pictures of him on a daily basis. I will definitely use her again.

I have no breed preferences. I have experience working with all breeds. Characteristics I would like to know about a dog before sitting him/her is the type of personality the dog has. Does that dog have certain issues with bikes, children, other dogs, etc.? How much exercise do they enjoy? What health issues does the dog have?
A typical day
Every dog can enjoy long walks in Huntsville's local parks, natural trails, and downtown areas. I enjoy working with dogs on their training and trying to teach them new tricks! A working dog is a happy dog. :)
