Here for your attention loving pups
Pet care experience
I grew up with two chocolate labs who sadly passed a couple of years ago. Ive dog sat for neighbors and friends throughout the years but really miss having dogs of my own. My goal is to graduate college and open my own dog boarding business and Rover has given me amazing experience! I would love to spend some time with your dogs and give them all the attention! I live with just my mom and dad and there aren't any children or other pets in the house so the dogs have full roam of the house. You can also check out my instagram @Larasdoggiedaycare where I occasionally share photos of the dogs<3

Lara was awesome! She sent lots of updates and pics. She took great care of our dogs; pretty sure they would’ve wanted to stay with her forever if we let them!
So glad to find Lara! She was welcoming, accommodating, and communicative. She kept us informed and updated with pictures and texts. We appreciated her ensuring that our pups were safe and well taken care of. We would book again and recommend her to others!
Lara took great care of our pup while we were out of town. She sent lots of updates. We will for sure be using her again!
Lara is wonderful! She took such wonderful care of our pup. Her communication is impeccable! She even gave us a treat favor at pick up. Highly recommend!

We just recently got a 5ft fence but I can still bring my escape artists out on a leash. I typically care for pets in my home which can be hard for some of the more anxious dogs. The first night can be hard; eating, drinking, and turning off “alert mode” is difficult for some dogs. I make sure to monitor how they are handling the change; sitting with them and making sure they eat and drink, making sure they have a safe space to settle down and making them feel loved and safe with me in the new environment. For our super nervous babies mom likes to spoil them with chicken and rice in their food to make sure they eat. Everything can be curated based on the dogs/owners needs/preferences. If your dog needs to be tucked in before bed, hand fed for every meal, homemade food, a strict schedule or authority, I can do it!

Information Lara M. would like to know about your pet
How often do they eat and how much? Do the have any food aggression? Do they have any allergies? Are they fully house trained? Do they normally have their water bowl out all day or for short periods of time? What are their commands? What is their typical sleeping arrangement? Do they have to sleep in a crate or are they more comfortable in a bed? This is very important to get them comfortable in the new environment. What are, if any trigger for them? sirens, cats, kids, thunderstorms? How do they respond to seeing/hearing other dogs? if there is anything else you can think about that I may need to be aware of while taking care of your dog please let me know! the more information the better!

I prefer boarding over house sitting/drop in visits since I can give the dogs the most attention that way. I try to stay on schedule with the dog so we wake up and go to bed at their normal times; This helps them get comfortable in a new environment. We have tons of toys to play with but bringing their toys from home can be good for having comfort items. Something that smells like home is encouraged, as well as their normal food and water bowls. I think it helps to change as little as possible since they will be away from their normal people and home.

I am currently taking online classes at home before I transfer to UGA next fall! I am home 24/7 with the dogs and am able to give them all the attention they need! We have a ridiculous amount of toys and I love being out in the yard with them! For older dogs we have a ramp for comfortable access in and out of the house and spend most of our time relaxing. I won’t accept dogs from different families if I’m not confident that the dogs will be good together.
