Hello! My name is Lara and I've been a dog owner all of my life until very recently which has caused serious dog fever! At the moment, I have a cat who is older and is not about another furry roommate, so I am looking for opportunities to get some puppy love. :-) As a former farm girl, I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. I have raised four dogs from puppies including a Samoyed, Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix, German Shepard/Golden Retriever mix, and a terrier mix. Two of which I took to several dog training sessions so I am comfortable giving basic dog commands. I live in the MDA City Club apartments and would be available within walking distance on week days.

Lara was great at keeping me updated. My lab puppy is a big girl and she gets excited. Lara was still able to manage my two dogs and spend some time with them making me feel much more comfortable about being away!

One of my dogs requires quite a lot of medication administration and I was nervous about having a sitter but Lara was awesome! She responds to messages very quickly and keeps you updated with pictures and summaries. She's great!

Demeanor and likes/dislikes (especially with other animals/people/kids) is really important for me to know ahead of time. I've had dogs of all sizes so breed isn't necessarily a concern.
A typical day
Depending on how long the walk is, there is a grassy area on my roof as well as a close dog park. As far as activities go, I usually follow the owners's recommendation or the dog's lead.

Availability
I work from home every Tuesday and Thursday and could easily take your pet for walks during my lunch break, before work, or any time after 4pm. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I can do early morning walks (7:30-8am) or after 6pm. Weekends are flexible as long as my schedule allows.
