Pet care experience
I have 6 years of experience with occasional dog sitting jobs. I currently have 1 dog myself, and grew up always had a dog in the house. My parents have 3 dogs that I watch for them when they travel for business or pleasure. My grandparents have 3 dogs which I frequently watch in addition to my parents’ 3. I have trained 4 puppies in my lifetime, so I am very comfortable with puppies. One of my dogs was blind and had to be given a daily pill and eye drops twice per day, so I am familiar with administering medication to pets. I bathe one of my dogs weekly and try to brush all of them at least twice per week. I walk my dogs at least 5 days of the week. I have fed my dogs freely or at certain times, so I am comfortable with various feeding types. I absolutely love dogs of all kinds, but I am most comfortable with dogs under 50 pounds. I love walking, playing with, and honestly everything dog. If you happen to have a super energetic dog, I will jog with your dog to burn extra energy. I will love your dog well!!!!

I have known Laniese for a while now, and I believe that she would be an excellent addition to Rover. First of all, she is one of the most responsible people I know. I have never known her to forget an event or any information - in fact I often have to rely on her for information that I missed or forgot. She is always on the ball, whether it is school, work, or anything else. Additionally, Laniese is passionate about dogs - she has several dogs herself - so it's obvious that she cares about dogs and is also good at taking care of them. If Laniese was your dog sitter, I know your dog would be in good hands.
Laniese is an amazingly responsible person, and would be perfect for any job that could possibly give her. She works her hardest in every situation, and will never leave you with anything less than her best. She will be great with your pets, since she has three dogs at home that she loves and cares for consistently. Her genuine hardworking and loving personality will be perfect for your pets.

I have a very small fenced in yard, but I live next to a park with well-maintained walking paths. Since my yard is so small, I frequently take my dog on a leash to a large grassy area or park in my neighborhood. Currently, I am crate-training my puppy, so I am comfortable with putting dogs in crates if necessary. However, it is important that the dog has time to play and get its energy out! Since my puppy is still small, I can play games like tug of war inside without causing any damage to the house.

A typical day
I am a regular runner/walker myself, so I would love for your dog to join me! Together we can play games, check out new smells in the neighborhood, and maybe even learn a new trick. If your dog is older, I am happy to simply sit and pet your dog too!

Availability
I’m a full-time dental student, so summers and weekends are my best availability! During the week, I typically have class 8-4. Short term jobs or regular weekends would work best for my schedule. Plus, then I can build a regular schedule and trust for you and your pet!
