I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have always loved animals. I have dog sat on multiple occasions as well as cared for my own dog. I am experiencing with giving medications to dogs. I have not had as much experience with cats but I adore cats and would not mind learning how to take care of your kitty cat!

From working alongside Lanie on the Colleagues Helping Implement Lifelong Learning Board of Directors, to being friends, and roommates- it's hard to put into words how incredible she is. Lanie is a dedicated and passionate person who always puts her best efforts forward. She is wonderful with people and animals. She takes care of our other roommate's cat when she is gone and has been a dog sitter. She treats everyone with kindness and care. Any dog would be lucky to be cared about by her!

I currently live in an apartment. Although we do not have a personal yard, we have multiple dog parks that have equipment and lots of play room. When walking dogs, I would most prefer to walk them in a harness so that they would not get chocked by a regular neck collar. I love to cuddle with the animals and make them feel safe when they might be anxious!

I would like to know the bread and general size of the dog. I would also like to know any behavioral/emotional needs. I will need to know how they interact with other pets so I can prepare for walks and time at the dog park.
A typical day
I love the dog parks located around my apartment. There are many other dogs in the neighborhood so there will be tons of sights and smells. I also love playing fetch inside and I have a large window for pets to look around.

Availability
I have lots of availability as I will be on summer break! I work Tues, Wed, Thurs from 4:30-6:30. I also work all day every other weekend, so on those weekends I could only walk or check-in with pets in the evening.
