My parents have raised me in a pet-friendly household all my life. They have fostered dogs for the last three years and I have been lucky enough to watch how rewarding it has been. I currently have two senior dogs of my own who are my best friends. I volunteer as a vet tech when I go home to see my family, and my mom and sister work in a clinic. This has allowed me to have 24/7 access to someone who knows all about animals if I ever had any questions. I am home all night and usually until 11 in the morning. Although I don't have much of a yard due to my living in an apartment, I make up for it with my own dogs by taking them on lengthy walks when weather permits.
