Pet care experience
I have been working in the advertising industry for over 20 years. I’ve decided to work on a freelance basis, so I have more free time to allocate toward my true passion...pets. The best part about working in advertising is that dogs are allowed in the office, anytime. I realize how lucky I was to have the ability to bring my pets to work. But, I realize that this is the exception, rather than the rule at most workplaces. I also know how hard it is to leave your furry family members during the day and especially overnight. Trust me when I say, I promise to treat your pets with as much love, care, and attention I provide my own furry family members.

When it comes to safety, trust & environment: Your pets well-being, safety, and happiness are the most important things to me. I promise to treat your pets and your home as if they were my own. I also take extra care when walking your fur babies, making sure their leashes are put on correctly, to ensure they won’t get loose. On hot days, I make sure the ground isn’t too hot for their paws. And I always pick-up your pet’s poop. I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

My goal is to make sure your pet gets the same quality of care they get when you’re with them. I welcome any information, special requests, specific requirements for your pets. For cats I like to know if they are indoor, outdoor, or both. For dogs I like to know if they have a tendency to run away. Plus, it’s good to know if your pets have a tendency to scratch or bite.
A typical day
For check-in visits I take care of the basic items first (letting dogs out to potty, cleaning the litter box, feeding your pets if needed, make sure they have enough water, etc.). Then it’s time to go for a walk or play (of course only if your pet likes/wants to play). I typically stay in the neighborhood for walks.

As for how pet sitting fits into my schedule: Working as a freelance contractor allows me the flexibility with my schedule, so I can help play and take care of your pets while you’re away.
