I have 4 small dogs. My oldest dog is 13 years old and my youngest is 5 years old. I've been taking care of these dogs for over 9 years now. I bathe and cut their fur and nails. I give them medications when needed and am very attentive to their needs.

I live in a small townhouse with a fenced in small back yard which is perfect for my 4 small dogs. I can walk dogs; feed them; play with them; give them some medicines; and most importantly, I can love them. I have one pair of breathable dog shoes for walks out on the hot pavement that would fit a shih tzu. Let me know if this is something you want to use on your dog. I would not feel comfortable walking your dog on really hot pavement. I will keep portable water for them as well. I have two dog water bottles, and plan on washing them thoroughly between each dog that uses them. I wouldn't want the poor babies to get overheated or hurt their poor feet.

How are they with new people? How are they with other dogs? Are they a flight risk? How energetic are they? Any health concerns? Behavior issues? Can I give them water? Are they allowed to have a treat after? How do they feel about going out in light rain.
A typical day
Walking. I'd like to walk them on grass if there is any nearby your neighborhood. I don't really want to drive them anywhere, just walk them in your neighborhood. I play with my small dogs and throw around their toys with them. They get tired pretty fast though because they are so little. I can do some playing with them in a fenced in yard or a nearby dog park if that is an option. I will also send at least one update per day and send pictures as well. That's what I would want from someone watching my babies.

Availability
I have a full-time job from 8am-4:30pm from Monday - Friday. I can fit pet care into any other time than my full-time job. I can do it on the weekdays after work and/or on the weekends. If I accept to have a pup come stay over at my place, then I will not do an overnight at another house. I will keep both options available until either is booked and will update my availability to reflect as such. I have openings for 3 drop-ins, I will interchange those with walks. I am going to try for 4 walks per day. If I get a drop-in then I will take a walk away and vice versa. I will do my best to keep my availability updated. I won't walk them if it is thunder and lightning out. I would do a drop-in though in that situation. It all depends on my availability.
