Pet care experience
Lane & Brad are lifelong dog lovers, with 2 rescue furbabies that love to make new friends. We have experience fostering pups of all ages and personalities with the Humane Society, and are great at giving meds and accommodating special needs as well. Brad works from home, and Lane is an ICU nurse that works nights, so she is home most days as well. We're a responsible, married couple in our 30s, and we make a great tag-team for all kinds of pup-sitting adventures. Rosco & Puddin' love to play hard, so energetic friends are always welcome! We have a fenced-in yard, and a great neighborhood for long walks. One of us will always be home to supervise, and there's a dedicated time-out space for any buddies that need a break. At the end of the day, we have lots of fuzzy blankets and couch/bed-space for your cuddly snugglebugs.

Lane has watched over our 2 dogs on many occasions over the past 5 years. She is very loving and kind and treats our dogs like her own - being a registered nurse I feel like if an emergency ever arose, she would know exactly what to do. I have recommended her to many friends and they all feel the same way. We feel lucky to have found her!
Brad and Lane have watched my dog Ludo many times and she's always sooo excited to come back and see them. Their dogs play really well with Ludo and they all snuggle up into a big dog pile at night. They send lots of photos and updates as well which is great! I always know Ludo's not only in good hands, but also having a ton of fun when she's with Brad and Lane. They take her on hikes and give her lots of love while I'm away. I can't say enough about how wonderful they've been and they are always my first choice of dog sitters in Portland!
Lane Leiker is one of the most caring and loving dog owners that I know. Having travelled the northern hemisphere with two dogs, and lived with a dog almost her entire life, I have no doubt that she is as responsible and experienced as they come!

A typical day
We like to take walks around the inner SE Hosford-Abernathy neighborhood, sometimes down to the river for a swim if the weather is nice. And any chance we get we love to hit the trails with our furry friends, if they want to go for a hike. There will be plenty of time to play in and around the house with our own little rascals, too. At the end of the day, everyone tends to melt into the sofa for snuggles and ear scratches.
