Fur Babies Welcome LARGE Yard

Pet care experience

We just rescued 15 mo old labradoodle “Laird Hamilton”. He is a lover of people and other dogs. He is neutered, crate trained and has all shots and bordatella as well. We ask that all dogs have a meet and greet to make sure your dog gets along with Laird. Absolutely NO pit bull or Rottweiler breeds or mixes. In the past we had our Dog Ollie pass due to cancer. He was a Weimaraner and he was loving, a bit crazy and full of energy. We also had Rastus a border collie who died of old age. My girls (15 & 8) and I dog sit for a lot of our neighbors and enjoy that, but I remember with our big dog it was hard to find him a kennel where he wouldn't be locked up! I have a huge, fenced back yard for them to explore and I keep it treated for ticks and fleas. (If I find your dog has fleas and ticks I will treat them for it and charge you for it. It is the owner's responsibility to have your dog on a flea and tick prevention program.) Dogs can come and go in and out all that they want. I do work so your dog needs to be able to be in a crate while I’m gone. My neighbors do come let my dogs out at lunch. We want to love on your fur babies and we miss your dog when they leave! At this time we are taking dogs from 1 home/family at a time, but sibling dogs are okay! Again, I will not mix dogs from other homes for the safety of your pet. So if you see that I am booked, I will not accept another booking from another home/family. Your dogs must have current shots and you must show proof of that as well as a number for your current vet in case of an emergency. PROOF OF CURRENT VACCINATIONS! You need to bring me a copy of your dog's current shots. Must have current Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Be Negative for Heart Worm. (Humid Climates are breeding grounds for mosquitoes which spread heart worm, so if you are new to the area that means keep your dog on a heart worm prevention program because it is a major issue in DFW for dogs.) Kennel Cough shot or bordatella vaccine is necessary. I am not responsible for your dog getting sick, but I promise to let you know if they seem like they aren’t feeling good. We love snapping pics and sharing while they stay with us! NOT ACCEPTING: Pit Bulls or Pit Bull Mixes, Dobermans, Rottweiler, or any Aggressive Breeds of Dogs. (I have children and a dog and these breeds no matter how well raised are known to turn on people, and I don't want the first time to be on my children.) Also, NOT accepting dogs without current shot records. MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN FOOD, TREATS, TOYS, & CRATE!

Landi and her girls were great! They made Tyrion feel at home and a part of their family. She kept me up to date with pictures and messages which is great, since it can be stressful leaving your fur baby behind while you're out of town. I will definitely use Landi again.

Landon and her daughters are great dog lovers they watched our 3 golden retrievers and did an awesome job keeping them company and taking great care of them. Had no reservations or doubts with them watching them. They too were great dog owners as well as our dogs loved playing with their beloved Ollie. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they are very compassionate when it comes to caring for dogs!!

Landi has cared for our dogs several times. Always well fed, loved on and played with. We trust to her to take care of our furry family for short and long trips! Highly recommend her services!

Information Landi W. would like to know about your pet

At this time I would like potty trained dogs and dogs that will not eat my furniture or things outside. So bring their toys, treats, and let us know what they love. Our dog was crate trained at night and we have room in the house for your pup'c crate as well. I try not to let dogs on the furniture, but if your dog has his own bed bring it.....I assume my girls will let them on their bed anyway lol! Please know that I work from home, but I will have to leave the dog occasionally to go get kids and run errands. So during that time they may have to be crated. Also on Friday nights we attend football games, so the dog may have to be by themselves for a bit. I am used to giving medications or shots, anything that they need. My friend was a vet tech as well, so I can call her if there is a question of health, but you will be called first. Also, please note that I treat my yard for ticks and fleas with pet friendly chemicals. We also have 2 rabbits that live outside in a large cage, Nutella & Oreo, so if you think your dog would like to eat them, we might not be a good fit for your dog. I will not accept Rottweilers, pits, or dobermans because of their potential to harm.

A typical day

Running in the backyard. Walks on a leash around the neighborhood, playing ball outside. If they love to ride in the car I will take them with me to pick up kids from school as well.
