Hi, I’m Lana and my husband Wayne and I have loved dogs since we were children, and have always had dogs as family members for as long as we can remember. We are available for daycare or overnight stays. Please note—we require a meet and greet at our home with potential new clients to be completed at least 48 hours before desired dates of service. This helps ensure safety and peace of mind for dogs and humans on both sides. We will not accept requests made within 48 hours of desired drop-off unless you are a previous client. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about this policy. We have a large fenced back yard and live on 5 acres about 5 minutes from downtown Carrboro, North Carolina. Dogs can really be dogs here with lots of space to play and run. Our dog Sadie is happy to have a friend to run or nap with! We are at home full time and enjoy walking with dogs around our neighborhood trails and property and walk an average of 2 miles a day. We are organized and tidy but also easy going and allow dogs to get on the furniture and sleep with us. If you prefer your dog to sleep in a crate, we have room for that as well. I also enjoy reinforcing training skills during the day so let me know if there is anything you want to work on. Having been on the other side of having to leave our dog at a kennel or with a dog sitter, we want to do everything possible to make sure your dog is comfortable in a low stress, loving and fun environment.
