I’ve never left a negative review before. However, I think it’s important for other pet owners to be informed. I was initially very impressed by this couples rover profile. When I met them in person they seemed very charming. I’m sure these are nice people, but they’re extremely unprofessional. The night before my flight, Laird cancelled my pet reservation. His actions caused me a ton of stress- my business trip was almost ruined over the last minute cancellation. I couldn’t find a replacement sitter on such short notice. Laird reluctantly agreed to watch my dogs after all. He acted like it was such a burden to complete this job I had paid him to complete. When I returned from my trip, I was shocked to find SO many pets frantically running around their home. There were too many random dogs running around. My dogs were frightened. Very few of my “care instructions” were followed. The dogs had no clean water available to drink. This whole situation was sketchy and to be blunt- completely unacceptable. ** After picking the dogs up after the trip, I had to treat my chihuahua for severe dehydration. This was a big deal. Laird and his girlfriend had forgotten to leave water down for my dog. These careless actions put my puppies life at risk. When I picked my dogs up, Laird told me how “poorly behaved” my pets were. My dogs peed all over themselves and the house because they weren’t let outside enough. I strongly advise everything to stay away from this particular sitter. He didn’t even offer to reimburse my dog for the heat stroke situation. Once again, I’m sure these are very nice people- but they presented my dogs with many safety issues.
