Please do not ask for price adjustments. I have been a dog owner my whole life, so I know how much they mean to us and our families. They give so much to us and always make us as happy as possible. That’s why I became a dog sitter: to make every dog in the world as happy as can be! Being around dogs is such a wonderful treat, so it’s a dream come true to work with them. I love learning about their different personalities, wants and needs, and just seeing what makes them tick. I have been a dog owner my whole life, but the extent of my experience with dogs extends far beyond that I’ve been a volunteer and local animal shelters in the past, and have experience with fostering and rescuing dogs. It’s been an amazing experience working with dogs that are transitioning to their forever families, and I’ve been glad to be a part of that. I’ve also been a professional sitter for over two years now and have loved every minute of it! I come from a science and medicine background as well, so dog psychology and behavior are very familiar to me. I do like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on any new clients. It’s a great way for me to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, plus we get to chat face-to-face about some of your care expectations. I have lots of questions, and it’s always good to talk in person! Plus, there’s just nothing like getting to meet a new pup! When meeting a new pooch for the first time, I like to get down on their level and let them come to me. That way, they know I’m here just to make friends.
