You can never have too many pets in your life! That's why I love sitting. I get to meet so many wonderful animals, all with different personalities and quirks. My approach to dog siting is to adapt myself to the dog's usual routine as much as possible. If your dog wants me to be a morning person, I'm up at 6am running with them (though your dog might be asked to share a nap time with me later). Do they like to cuddle and watch Netflix? Binge watching it is! I can take your dog on adventures or just relax with them at home. I have over 25 years of pet sitting experience and have experience with medically fragile dogs, reactive dogs, and puppies. My own pup is reactive, so I do not dog sit in my home. When I’m sitting, my pup is cared for by my husband and two teens. I am experienced at administering medications, including injections, and can perform care such as wound dressing changes. When not caring for dogs, I care for humans as a Registered Nurse. I also have experience with exotic pets and can care for your scaly or feathered friends while you’re away too!
