I have a senior dog (almost 14) and Lacey was wonderful with him, and easy to work with from the start. I loved the daily updates I received and it was clear he was having a great time. I'd definitely recommend and can't wait to use her services again.

Lacey is a lifesaver! Once again when my pup needed a place to spend a long day, Lacey opened up her wonderful dog-friend play-oriented home to us! Thank you!

Garden Home Fur Friends

I love dogs! I am a lifelong animal lover and have spent time volunteering for and fostering animals for rescue groups. Dogsitting is my full time job, and Garden Home Fur Friends is a place for dogs to come play with other dogs. My house has a fenced yard, and the dogs have plenty of room to run and play inside as well. Your dog will be as well cared for in my home as ...

What Lacey would like to know about your dog

From taking care of so many breeds, I've learned that all dogs are different. Maybe your dog just wants to play fetch, wants to sit and chew on her favorite toy, or wants to curl up on someone's lap. Does your dog eat food off counter tops or try to dart out the door when someone comes home? Telling me about your pet's quirks and naughty habits ensures a better stay. I especially need to know about any food, toy, or leash aggression. I prefer mellow or older dogs, but playful adults are also welcome. Overly rambunctious or highly energetic dogs are not the best match for us, which is especially true for larger breeds because of the frail, older dogs I often sit. If your dog is scared to be around other dogs or does not get along with other dogs, Garden Home Fur Friends is not the place for your fur kid. A meet and greet is essential before your dog's first stay, and I might request having your dog over for a day or half day of daycare before committing to an extended stay as dogs sometimes act differently in the absence of their owners.
