Each dog is incredibly different, and I know how important establishing a relationship with a new person is for dog. Not all dogs are friendly, goofy & happy to see you! Having own two fearful dogs myself, over the years I’ve come to learn how important recognizing even the slightest of dog body language is. Dogs communicate almost totally with body language. They can read you better than yourself! During check in’s, I always follow your dogs lead! I bring treats (pre-approved by Mom or Dad of course) & like to form a bond by practicing basic obedience commands during our walk, or playing with a favorite toy. My standard of care has always been to treat each dog like they were my own. Dogs are gifts to us and trusting them with someone can be scary. Leaving them in experienced hands is an absolute necessity and I take pride in my level of care.
