I've grown up with dogs my whole life and started caring for my neighbor's pets of all kinds (dogs, cats, snakes, guinea pigs...) starting at 10 years old and continuing until I left for college at 19. Since then I've interned in animal care at a zoo working with Zebras, birds and reptiles, at an animal rehabilitation center with native birds and rodents, and have worked as a dog handler at a doggy boarding facility! I love spending time with all animals, enjoying their quirks and unique personalities. I also have experience with basic training and reinforcement for puppies, working with elderly dogs who are slow moving or require medication, and dogs who have suffered abuse and need a little extra patience and kindness.
