Pet care experience
I have always had an affinity for animals, and have always had them in my life. My first dog was a keeshound mix named Katrinka, since then I have had a wide variety of animal friends, from ferrets to horses. As an adult I worked as a vet tech and organic dog treat baker These days I am a working artist and have fewer animals, in the interest of being able to travel and create. Pet sitting allows me to enjoy the company of a wide variety of animals, without the long term commitment. In addition to pet sitting in your home, I am available for daily drop-in visits to get your pup out for a run, change litter boxes + water, or just give them some company while you are at work. I am currently available for pet sitting in your home, as well as dog walking, chicken tending, and related animal services. As your surrogate I'll maintain your pets's routine, in the comfort of their home, with compassion & respect.

With the focus being on your animals calm, healthy, peaceful & fun experience: I care for your pets in their 'comfort zone (your home), where they surrounded by familiar spaces, scents of you around & the routine that works best for them. Overnight at your home: I create a seamless experience in caring for your pet’s routine needs, helping them get exercise and have fun with them while doing it. cleaning up after myself and your animals and gently caring for your home as, if it’s my own sacred space. Let me know normal your pet's daily routine and personality, traits, likes and dislikes. Things always go better if I am fully aware of your pets personality and potential issues. Beyond that it's good to know If your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I should look out for, as well as any specific health issues, medications or special needs.
A typical day
Every pack is unique, I align the care I provide to your pet's needs and routine. When house sitting I spend a significant amount of time with your animals, interacting or just "hanging out", depending on their preferences. Generally, it's a minimum of 4 hours of active engagement in their favorite activities and regular routine, be it Frisbee, walks in the neighborhood, practicing obedience skills, or a day trip to the river. At night I provide a calming presence while giving your home the care of a sacred space. Extra house-sitting services I can take care of any house-related tasks you need done, including light housekeeping, yard work, cleaning chicken coops, garden tending; please mention your specific needs in advance and we can work out details.
