I am a friendly, active, self motivated person who adores all kinds of animals! 🐾 I love meeting new people and their pets. I live with my partner (also an animal lover) in a decent sized apartment next to the Etihad City Stadium, there are plenty of nice places for dog walking such as the canals and Phillips Park/Clayton Vale which is only 1 minute from my doorstep. I also take regular trips to Glossop in the countryside, I always enjoy taking dogs on the Longendale Trail, or into the Moors. EDUCATION 🎓 ~ I have a Higher Distinction qualification in Animal Care levels 2 - 4 , and I am knowledgeable in First Aid. I am currently studying towards a Biology degree at University of Manchester, with a goal to work in Conservation or Rehabilitation. I also volunteer as much as I can with Every Feather & Wild Life Rescue. 👆BIG OR SMALL👇~ I grew up in a rural environment and I have cared for all manner of animals since I was a child, and have been dog/puppy-sitting since I was in my early teens. I have also cared for cats 🐈, small animals; rabbits 🐇hamsters 🐹, reptiles 🦎, invertebrates, 🕷️ and fish 🐠 whilst their owners were away. I can accommodate any of these animals, if you're unsure, please just ask! ✨ SERVICES ✨ - I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own. Every dog is unique and I love getting to know them. They get tons of cuddles, playtime and attention. - I will exercise them multiple times a day based on their stamina and play-style, and tire them out. Toilet breaks are every 2 hours usually, with walks around 3 times a day, depending on breed, age, and activity level. - Your dog will rarely be left alone in the home, and if I need to nip across the road to the shop for ten minutes I will do it before my partner leaves for work. - If they get dirty when out on walks, I will groom and bathe them free of charge, so that they look and smell perfect by the time they come home to you. ✨ - I am very patient with dogs, and that helps with continuing on with any training or boundaries you have in place. For example, if you're training your reactive dog, I would carry on with that and use my knowledge to continue desensitizing your dog in a safe controlled environment. Or if your dog is not allowed to sleep in the bed, I would also respect that and not allow it either. - Communication is key. As I know how stressful it is to leave a pet alone, I always like to send multiple daily updates, photos and videos via WhatsApp, so that you can see how much fun they're having. 📸 If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message me!
