I have a confession: my reason for wanting to hang out with your dog is selfish- I just really like hanging out with animals. I also like long walks in the park with a dog by my side. If your dog likes some mid-afternoon exercise (or even if he doesn't), I'm the perfect companion! I’ve had dogs for 12 years, so I'm experienced in handling and walking dogs, but I am great with animals of all kind! Both of my dogs are adopted (nobody tell them please, we haven’t broken the news yet) from Almost Home rescue, and I hope to one day own my own rescue because I am so grateful for the joy and love that my rescue pups have given me. If I can give even one person the joy that Sparks and Casey have given me, it would make all the effort worth it. My dog Casey has always had severe separation anxiety, so I know what it’s like to have a dog who digs at the door and scratches through the screens every time you leave the house. For all the parents of anxious dogs out there: I’d love to be the one to give your pup some peace of mind. During my time working at Fairmount Animal Hospital, I was trained in the handling of large and small dogs, administering medicine, and restraining of dogs up to 100 lbs. I also did a lot of reading while working there; I am knowledgeable in dog medical conditions and their treatments, as well as warning signs.
