Pet care experience
As a girl who grew up on a farm caring for animals, I have a deep love and appreciation for them. As a kid my family had Great Pyrenees dogs who had so much love to give! I have a lot of experience when it comes to animals and I am most comfortable when I'm around them. Now that I am in college I spend a lot of my free time at the Humane Society taking dogs on walks and providing them with some much needed loving. I have always been passionate about animals and an advocate for giving them the best care, which is why I would love this job. It is something that I am not only happy to do, but I want to do!!

I have a 70 pound Siberian husky named Bleu. I have raised him since he was 13 weeks old and naturally we have become very attached. As a pet parent, it is very hard to trust someone with watching your baby. In the past I have always tried to just have my roommates watch Bleu because they already get along and know each other. However, when it comes to Kyra, I couldn't write high enough praise for her. She has always been gentle and kind when watching Bleu and they love each other. It has gotten to the point that Bleu starts racing around the house when she comes to watch him, and whines by the door when she leaves. I'm starting to think he's more excited about seeing her, than he is me. Kyra is one of the most responsible and loving dog sitters I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I would fully recommend taking her on as a sitter.

I would like to know the size, personality, likes and dislikes, obedience level and diet before sitting for the dog. No preferences, I love all dogs!!
A typical day
The first place I would go is wherever the owners usually walks the dog so that they are comfortable. If I am giving permission I would love to take the dog to the park or my personal farm. I am also a very active person, so I would be comfortable taking the dogs on runs with me either in the residence where the owner lives or at the park.
